　　Throttle controlled braking: When you need to decelerate, stick to the 3rd gear and completely release the throttle. At this moment, the engine tends to idle, so it creates a resistance to the transmission system and acts on the wheels to reach the intention of deceleration.

　　Exhaust brake: There is a butterfly valve at the junction of the exhaust manifold and the exhaust pipe of the high-power diesel engine. When in gear, the electromagnetic switch is operated to close it, which will cause the engine to become stuffy and reach the braking effect. When the accelerator is stepped on again It will open automatically. The layout is simple but detrimental to the engine. Currently, heavy trucks and buses are widely used.

　　Turbine retarder: Add a turbine chamber at the rear end of the gearbox housing. When the brake circuit is opened, the gearbox oil will be damped in the turbine to reach the braking effect. There is no wear but heat dissipation is added. Currently ZF gearboxes are used in high-end passenger cars.

　　Electric turbine retarder: It is equivalent to installing a "generator" on the drive shaft. When it is not powered, there is no touch and no wear. When the circuit is required to be braked, the drive shaft is resisted by the electromagnetic field and reaches the braking intention. No wear and tear but huge layout. Currently, heavy trucks and large buses are optional.

　　Engine braking structure: The braking signal makes the exhaust valve slightly open and not closed, and the piston up and down movement is damped by the airflow, and braking force is generated. Lossless and compact, there is currently none in China.
